The Novocontact single-jointed bit looks exactly like the Dynamic RS bit. However, the difference lies in the mouthpiece. The anatomic design of the mouthpiece is the same but the rest of the bit has been given a more oval shape. The transition between the mouthpiece and cheekpieces has been made softer for enhanced interaction and effect. This bit from Sprenger has thicker mouthpiece ends and a shape that functions differently depending on how light/hard the rein contact is. The Novocontact single-jointed bit is recommended for use on horses that tend to avoid bit contact.
